I am a solo practitioner with a civil litigation practice and board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in two areas: Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law. I have practiced law in the Houston area for 26 years. I grew up in Houston and went to high school here, and then I attended the University of Texas at Austin, where I earned a B.B.A. (with honors) in 1985. In 1988, I earned a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin Law School.

I give every client my personal attention, and provide the benefit of my analysis of the law and the facts, the exercise of my independent professional judgment, and my lifetime of experience in the legal system. I also have paralegals who are experienced in litigation, and I also associate "of counsel" and contract attorneys with me on a case by case basis.

I accept clients on contigency (percentage) fee agreements, mixed fee agreements or straight hourly fees, depending on the nature and circumstances of each case. The terms of my attorney fee contracts with clients vary depending on the preferences and choices of the clients and the nature of the dispute and legal services anticipated. I represent people who need legal services resolving problems such as:
